NAAC

National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) was established by the UGC in September 1994 at Bangalore for evaluating the performance of the Universities and Colleges in the Country. NAAC accreditation focuses on improving the quality parameter of education. Unlike the traditional educational system, NAAC aims to improve the overall development of students and to inculcate skills & knowledge via their education. The philosophy of NAAC is based on objective and continuous improvement of all institutions of higher learning that are empowered to maximize their resources, opportunities and capabilities and to maximize the student learning outcomes by ensuring the best practices. The role of NAAC Accreditation is to bring the institutions growing across research, innovation, student success, governance & more. Accreditation is valid for a period of five years that identifies the quality of the institute in terms of its education, research, faculty, infrastructure, etc.
